Despite the upcoming holiday, we managed to get together this month for some sewing fun and community. I brought a crafty winter decor project which everyone made! I do think I want to add something at the top, maybe a ribbon, etc, but now I want to make a few more little trees and have a forest!

The Future of Just Sew You Know

I love our little group so much and wouldn't change a thing. I hope you all think the few hours we sew together are fun as well. By now some of you know I've taken a position for next year with a quilt guild that I think will take up lots of time. However, I wanted to make sure to let you know I want to keep our group going no matter what. I love it's informality and the way we can check in with everyone because we're a tight knit community. So I will be at Heartfelt every second Wednesday and I will be bringing some little project or discussion topic, or notion to share

and I hope you'll all do the same.

December Meeting Plans

Next month, we have our pillowcase swap, and I'm so excited to see what everyone comes up with. I bought my fabric, and I'm totally second-guessing myself. Do you do it? I think, oh it's her colors, oh it's so cute and will look pretty on her bed, and then I look at it later and think, why did I buy that!? She'll hate it? Then back and forth.....I'm going to stop myself. I think it's cute.

We'll also have a little snackluck (see what I did there? Snack instead of pot?), if you want to participate. It will be a quilter's type of party with sewing and chatting, and sharing projects before the holidays. I can't wait to see everyone!
