Hey everyone! I was thinking as a little get to know you, we might want to come to retreat prepared with a gift to swap with one of our fellow quilters! My winter doesn’t look like that  at all. I finally broke out a puffy vest today, but honestly, it’s still pretty mild for winter. And yet—I feel it. The heaviness. The slow. I can’t believe 2026 is already here. That year absolutely flew by. I’ve learned about myself that adding new  habits doesn’t work nearly as well as gently breaking old ones. Years ago, I realized I’d become a little too obsessed with going to the movies, so I didn’t go at all for an entire year—and somehow that totally reset me.
