Resolutions anyone?

I can’t believe 2026 is already here. That year absolutely flew by.
I’ve learned about myself that adding new habits doesn’t work nearly as well as gently breaking old ones. Years ago, I realized I’d become a little too obsessed with going to the movies, so I didn’t go at all for an entire year—and somehow that totally reset me.
So now I’m trying a similar experiment with books. I’m planning not to buy any ebooks or physical books for the whole year. Some of you know this is a big deal for me. If there’s a bookstore within 20 miles, I can hear it calling my name… and I usually answer.
I’ve been wondering if something like this could work for quilting too—not a full no-buy, but a “buy only what I need to finish or work on projects I already have” approach. Maybe it’ll work, maybe it won’t—but I’m curious enough to try.
I’m also really interested in getting what I already own better organized, and with that in mind, here’s a fun link to check out:
I might follow along with these... if I can remember.
Retreat News
So far I've had 15 RSVPs for the retreat and one more that will possibly come. It's our biggest year yet!! I'm excited to meet all the new people, have time with my fabulous quilting friends, and to see what everyone brings to work on! I'm pretty sure I can promise a good time!
