We’ve got some exciting updates for our group, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming up next. Whether you’re piecing together your next masterpiece or preparing for our cozy quilted jacket, read on for all the latest!

JSYK Show & Tell is Online

As a reminder, show & tell for our group is online, where it will last forever! Projects are featured on our website and now over on BlueSky (@justsewyouknow.bsky.social), so everyone can enjoy them anytime, anywhere.

Here’s what to do:

• Snap a few clear, well-lit photos of your quilted creations

• Email them to: alwaysbequilting@gmail.com

• Include your name and a little blurb about the project if you’d like (pattern, inspiration, etc.)

We can’t wait to showcase your beautiful work and keep the inspiration flowing all month long.

Quilting Services for Jacket Fabric

Planning to make the quilted jacket for class on May 17th and need help with quilting your fabric layers? We’ve got you covered! Allyson is offering quilting services to help prep your fabric before you sew up that dreamy jacket.

Let Allyson know if you want to discuss options, pricing, and turnaround time. She’ll make sure your fabric is quilted and ready to go.

Mug Rug Swap

We’re bringing a little extra joy to our next meeting with a Mug Rug Swap! If you’d like to participate, we’ll be exchanging names at the May 14th meeting.

Still under discussion is whether we'll make a project based on our own tastes or the tastes of the swapee— but think fun fabrics, cute binding, and a whole lot of love. Mug rugs are quick, simple, and a great way to try out new techniques on a smaller scale. And we can all thank Becky S. for the idea!!
